POINTS

Isolated "punctual" events.

They occur in three different types:

• ord: a short accentuated sound
  
• pre: grace note figure or anticipated sound with crescendo (towards the main impulse)
  
• post: ricochet-like repetition of the point with decrescendo (after the main impulse)

The periodicty [1-5] determines the degree of rhythmical regularity of a sequence of points:

• 1: very aperiodic (= rhythmically completely irregular)
• 5: very periodic (= constant rhythmical pulsation)
